The Vice President of Sales for Enterprise Software is a critical leadership role within our organization, responsible for driving sales initiatives, reaching revenue goals, and directing our sales team. This executive will have a deep understanding of enterprise software solutions, with specific knowledge of the B2B SaaS and Enterprise sales methodologies. With their operational skill set, they will be able to navigate complex sales processes and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

Strategic Sales Leadership : Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to specific industries. This includes defining key target customers, understanding market needs, and aligning our solutions to these needs. Implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed company revenue targets.

Sales Operations and Process Management : Oversee all sales operations and manage the end-to-end sales process. This includes lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and post-sales support. Develop and implement processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in all stages of the sales cycle.

Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target customer organizations. Understand their needs, present appropriate solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership and Development : Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their individual and collective targets. Encourage professional development and provide regular feedback to improve skills and performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service to align strategies, create unified messaging, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.

Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.

Previous experience as a sales director or VP of Sales, preferably within the enterprise software industry.

Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.

Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong business sense and industry expertise.

Willingness to travel as required

Strong understanding of the aerospace and medical device industries is a bonus.
