The Position
The Account Executive, Commercial Net New is a part of Cleo's first-class Sales Team and will become a product knowledge expert while focusing on selling directly to new and current clients, building pipelines, and identifying key client needs to help increase sales at Cleo. Our goal is to help you take the next step in your sales career and provide you the tools to do so successfully. We are looking for candidates that are eager to drive their business and set goals that align with our company growth. Cleo is a growing Ecosystem and we want the best and brightest on our team.
What you will be doing:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Educate and advise clients to build strong and trustworthy relationships with Cleo's customers
Executing a successful sales process from lead to appointment to close
Obtain feedback from clients and adjust messaging to improve downstream execution
Meet clients to discuss their needs and complete the execution of the sale
Working with SDRs and Account Managers to devise a program that meets the client's needs and budget
Negotiating with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met
Checking and reporting on their Cleo programs progress
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years working at an Enterprise Software and/or SaaS Company in Sales or Account Management role
Experience successfully collaborating with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders and executives
Proven ability to work in an environment that is fast-paced and team-oriented
Excellent communication and presentation skills directed at both business oriented and technical audiences
Strong desire to learn about the IT industry an build effective relationships with customers
Ability to communicate confidently through face-to-face communication, phone, and virtual communication
Preferred experience selling SaaS and or Cloud based technologies
