Statement of Qualifications

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Please note that resumes, cover letters, and/or any other documents do not take the place of the SOQ. The SOQ serves as documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. In your SOQ, describe your experience, knowledge, and competencies as they relate to each of the items listed below. 1. Experience working with the public and specifically working with veterans, dependents & their survivors.

2. Experience in the analysis of appealing adverse decisions & appearing at hearings as claimants counsel.

3. Experience and knowledge of claims and appeals for veterans involving compensation for service related disabilities, non-service related disabilities ( non-service connected Pension) and survivor benefits.

4. Experience working with different government and non-government agency partners.
