Job Description and Duties

Under general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent serves as the lead for budget preparation, program analysis, program control and contract preparation. Budget and contract administration for Division of Integrated Science and Engineering (DISE) programs is complex and requires the incumbent to coordinate independently with technical and administrative staff of multiple State and federal agencies and other Department of Water Resources (DWR) and stakeholders, track budget expenditures, work with the contract managers to ensure that deliverables are received in a timely manner and lead special projects when necessary. These activities also require close coordination with DISE and DWR budget and contract analysts.
