The Role

JoVE is seeking a driven and seasoned sales professional to oversee the sales operations for the North America market. This position will report to the SVP of Revenue..

Responsibilities :

Take leadership of established regional sales teams across US and Canada

Direct and coordinate the sales activities of the team as you generate new opportunities in JoVE’s largest single market

Develop sales talent to prepare the next generation of JoVE Account Managers for our growing line up of STEM video titles.

Manage a large book of renewal business

Meet and exceed the assigned sales targets in the Americas

Monitor buyer/influencer motivations, competition, and sales cycle to determine focus of sales efforts.

Coordinate with the marketing, customer success, and sales development teams to expand our business year over year.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree

5+ years of direct experience managing a sales team

10+ years of experience in sales

Good working understanding of higher education market across region

Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to close

Excellent negotiation and leadership skills

Proven ability to lead a national team with members across region

Proven ability to recruit account managers from internal and external sources and efficiently coach them into contributing members of the team

Experience working in education technology is preferred
