SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

The Vice President, Marketing will be responsible for managing all of the marketing and advertising activities related to acquiring, growing and retaining Owners Bank customers. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity and technical expertise to effectively reach and engage target audiences through digital channels. This leader will also be responsible for coordinating marketing efforts with the Liberty Bank marketing team to help promote and increase adoption of key strategic Fintech partners to the Liberty Bank retail and business customer base.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

As Vice President, this position will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive and effective marketing plan that meets the division’s growth objectives and remains within the confines of the budget.

Responsible for implementing Owners Bank marketing plan that encompasses both long-term digital marketing campaigns as well as short-term advertising techniques designed to generate brand awareness, drive traffic and generate new customers.

Work with the agencies, vendors and internal digital team on creation and distribution of effective marketing and advertising content.

Must be adept at enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to the company’s website and social media channels to generate sales.

Define key campaign goals and metrics to track success of campaign across each step of the purchasing funnel and continually optimize campaigns to meet the metrics consistently and effectively.

Monitor and report on the success of individual campaigns, as well as overall unit production vs. budget through reporting dashboard tools and Google Analytics.

Deep understanding of Owner’s Bank competition and constant pursuit of discovering a competitive advantage.

Manages all of Owners Bank social media channels including creation of engaging, visually appealing and brand-consistent content for social media platforms to drive audience engagement and increase followers. Includes ensuring we are maintaining these channels to adhere to our social media and digital policies.

Regularly update and maintain the company website to ensure content is current, accurate and enhancing user experience and functionality.

Ensure our marketing and advertising efforts are achieving expected production goals and ROI within the confines of the Owners Bank marketing budget.

Write clear, compelling press releases that effectively communicate key messages, product launches, company updates and other important news to the media and public.

Attend key industry tradeshows, be the face of Owners Bank for possible podcasts or panel invites at key industry events.

Demonstrate strong decision-making skills including but not limited to, ability to thoroughly assess situation, research possible solutions, execute solution with confidence and conviction in a positive and professional manner, and document activities that led to decision/outcome.

Adheres to Bank policies and procedures, complies with Federal and State regulations, and works within designated levels of authority with respect to check transactions and operational responsibility.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BA in Marketing or related fields.

Minimum 10 years of marketing experience.

Demonstrated ability to assume new tasks/responsibilities and commitment to personal and professional growth coupled with ability to prioritize tasks on the fly.

Demonstrated knowledge of Owners Bank products, services, policies, procedures and regulations, and an understanding of the SMB marketplace.
