Summary: This position is responsible for providing business and technical analysis for medium to large size projects. Gathering, analyzing, eliciting, documenting, and communicating clear and comprehensive requirements that guide the development of IT solutions. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including end-users, test analysts, project managers, and developer to ensure that IT projects meet the specified business goals and objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Capable of identifying key stakeholders who can contribute to requirements documentation. Skilled at collecting the appropriate amount of information for medium to large size projects utilizing knowledge of various elicitation tools and techniques and defining solutions that meet the business needs.
Prioritize, organize, and document requirements in the form of use cases, user stories with acceptance criteria, process diagrams, wireframes as necessary.
Documents requirements with attention to detail to ensure that they are accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives. Conduct thorough reviews of requirements documentation to catch any inconsistencies or gaps.
Clearly articulate requirements in both written and verbal communication, ensuring that all stakeholders have a common understanding.
Functional knowledge of identifying relationships among requirements. Ability to identify assumptions and constraints related to stakeholder needs.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
Assist in analysis and problem resolution for production defects Use system and business knowledge to optimize delivery and quickly resolve issues.
Knowledge of requirements management and traceability to manage requirements through change and risk.
Assist in developing communication of new and revised system changes and procedures to the impacted stakeholders and teams.
Has some technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis including but not limited to designing, testing, debugging, documenting, etc.
Ensure that knowledge transfer is accomplished prior to the production release date.
Follows and participates in established Agile practices and methodology.
Participates in analytical activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of requirements analysis.
What You’ll Bring To The Company: A minimum of one to two years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related discipline is preferred Insurance industry.
Must possess good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communications skills
Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Adobe is required. Additional experience with software like SQL is an advantage. Familiarity with requirements development tools, like Confluence, and project management software ,like Jira, is essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency in system analysis tools and methodologies
The role requires adaptability to changing project demands and the initiative to contribute proactively in a dynamic work environment.
