Sr Account Executive

Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to help drive digital revenue across the Company. This position reports to the Director, Digital Sales and will play a central role in the generation of revenue utilizing data, local and national marketing strategies to sell customized solutions for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success driving revenue and winning new business. They must have a strong command of the digital ad industry inclusive of both local and national ad agencies and clients. They must be a highly effective communicator (oral and written), be able to quickly analyze trends in data, and be able to successfully manage multiple priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive revenue by establishing relationships across holding company and independent agencies, fortune 500 brands, and local clients
Hit and exceed sales goals
Proactively identify opportunities for creating new and impactful relationships
Develop robust pipeline, category, and territory strategies
Deliver marketplace feedback and client challenges internally to help improve sales products and develop new solutions and work with Account Management and Programmatic teams to optimize plans
Serve as an ambassador for the CHSN brand and mission in market, clearly explaining our unique value proposition and platform
Identify, monitor, and accurately forecast sales activity
Use knowledge of the relevant market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
Effectively problem-solve and manage both client and internal customer needs
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to hit and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics including the optimization of campaigns (direct and programmatic)
Effectively communicate CHSN's unique positioning and insights to internal and external clients through presentations, reports, and visualizations
Foster a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization, promoting the use of analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Promote and sustain a positive work environment
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital sales or sports related sales
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
Demonstrated experience in developing and growing new business
Proven experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong business acumen and high integrity
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch in October across multiple platforms. The network will air more than 300 live Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games annually and include pre- and postgame coverage while showing multisport programming 24 hours a day. CHSN will broadcast from studios located in both Chicago's United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field. The network will start airing Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games in October, showing White Sox games beginning in 2025.
