Location: This position preference is Atlanta, GA, remote associated will be considered.
Job Summary
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for the Drug Channel Home Segment supporting the Discounter and Drug Team for assigned categories. Key deliverables are maximizing profitable sales through effective distribution for our products, maximizing promotional programs and developing winning categories strategies that enable Newell Brands to win market share. The role is responsible for delivering financial targets within spend and maximizing sales, market share and profits. This will require the SAE to develop plans through collaborative partnerships with Newell Brands cross functional support team: Customer Sales Planning, Category Management, Finance, Marketing and Demand & Supply Chain.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver sales and profitability targets.
Build customer relationships at buyer level and facilitates connectivity in other functional areas.
Collect and use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits.
Assist in trade and finance through management of internal TPM system.
Assist with Analytical support for Key Account Managers and National Account Managers.
Contribute to the development of the business operating plan.
Negotiate and manages trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing trade terms and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies.
Work with demand planning to maintain customer sales forecasts and achieve forecast accuracy targets
Monitors the competitors' brands and products share performance to provide counsel to internal and customer stakeholders on category and shopper trends
Requirements
Bachelors/University degree
2+ years sales or relevant experience
Demonstrate effective communication, negotiation, analytical and project management skills
Experience in managing multiple brands across various categories.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize project deliverables
Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner
Up to 15% Travel
