Position Overview:
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and developing leads focused on our target markets of Nonprofits and Healthcare IT, as well as following up on marketing-generated leads. They will also qualify the leads and develop them into meaningful opportunities for new business. We are looking for a self-starter with a proven history of prospecting for new clients, who can demonstrate effective prospecting discipline and experience that includes phone, email, LinkedIn, partnerships/networking, and can concisely document prospecting efforts in the CRM.
Position Responsibilities
Prospecting
Handle all prospect/customer lifecycle from prospecting to discovery stages
Conduct pre-qualifying discussions with prospects over the phone or video conference
Understand key metrics, identify economic buyer, evaluate decision criteria and ensure market fit
Use the proven selling process and techniques to overcome objections
Gain access to decision makers and influencers
Move opportunities from leads to qualified opportunities
Identify economic buyer, evaluate their decision criteria and confirm fit
Research prospective accounts in target markets
Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline
Establish strong rapport quickly via interpersonal skills
Develop and maintain customized scripts for targeted market segments and prospect types
Sales Administration Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
Analyze lead sources and determine most effective channels
Analyze various metrics on outbound execution to fine-tune sales strategies
Report weekly sales metrics, reports and communication of actions needed to drive revenue targets
Thoroughly document sales conversations and pertinent prospect information in the CRM
Manage the sales administration functions, including opportunity/deal tracking using the CRM system
Represent the company by consistently demonstrating the understanding and modeling of Imagis' mission and values
Qualifications Excellent Verbal and Written English Communication
1-2 years sales or prospecting experience.
Proven ability to call on C-Level decision makers.
Prior experience in the IT and Managed Services industry a plus
Proficient with email communication, LinkedIn and relevant prospecting tools
Experience with cross department collaboration and workflows
