About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join their team in Chicago. This hybrid role involves managing a team of two outside salespeople, with a focus on growing the team, improving sales processes, and developing new go-to-market (GTM) strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales management and a passion for driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two outside salespeople, setting performance goals, providing ongoing coaching, and driving the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Recruitment & Growth: Develop and execute a plan to grow the sales team, including recruiting, training, and onboarding new sales professionals.
Sales Processes: Analyze and improve current sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
GTM Strategies: Develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies to penetrate new markets, expand the customer base, and increase revenue.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports for senior management, and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to business development and client service.
