GENERAL FUNCTION
As a Legal Assistant, you play a critical role in supporting the seamless operation of our Legal Department. Your responsibilities include performing a diverse range of administrative tasks, with a focus on contract and document review. In our fast-paced corporate environment, you will skillfully manage competing priorities, ensuring that the legal team operates efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide administrative support to the legal department, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist attorneys in case preparations.
Maintain and organize legal files, documents, and databases.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for legal meetings and presentations.
Coordinate and communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders on legal matters.
Track and manage deadlines, ensuring timely completion of legal tasks and projects.
Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory compliance documentation.
Manage other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the legal team.
Respond to routine contract administration issues and requests; coordinate timely responses from the Legal Department, or others as required.
Maintain inventory and repository of all master agreements, templates, and related supporting documentation including the distribution of new and/or the retirement of old documentation with other departments within the company.
Processes Certificates of Insurance requests.
Draft and implement litigation legal holds.
Assist with reviewing and processing invoices.
Any other task requested by the Legal Team.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years’ experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ethical and discreet, with the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format.
