Experience Needed:
Proven experience as a Project Engineer in heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
Strong understanding of project management principles and practices, with the ability to assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Experience in conducting site investigations, preparing engineering designs, and reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques used in heavy civil projects, with a focus on deep underground utilities and large diameter pipe installations.
Ability to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met safely, on time, and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with a leading general contractor in the heavy civil construction industry.
EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
