Purpose

Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with trade professionals such as architects, builders, and interior designers to drive sales growth. This is primarily a B2B sales position.

General Description

Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets for designated trade professionals.

Maintain an ongoing pipeline of business and relationships with key trade professionals in the assigned territory.

Prospect new business opportunities with trade professionals and collaborate with other sales teams to drive revenue growth.

Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Attend trade shows, events, and meetings to build industry relationships and network.

Stay up to date on industry trends.

Educate and engage clients with confidence through extensive product knowledge and site demonstrations.

Reach out to client’s leads through cold calling.

Continuously maintain, organize, and update CRM.

Ability to organize your workday and be proactive with time management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

1+ years of sales experience; preferably in the A&D industry with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
