We are seeking a dynamic and strategic National Sales Manager to spearhead and oversee all facets of equipment sales operations. This pivotal role demands seamless collaboration with team members, sales leaders, and stakeholders to achieve success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous improvement, employ critical thinking to address business needs, and make decisions aligned with our current objectives while charting a course toward the future vision of our client.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the equipment sales team by translating the company's vision into a meaningful sales strategy, providing essential resources.
Foster enduring relationships with key customers and prospects to strengthen market presence.
Establish ambitious targets and employ performance metrics to surpass goals in pipeline development, revenue, margin, compensation, and operational expenses.
Utilize CRM and financial data for accurate forecasting, continuous refinement of the sales pipeline, and informed decision-making.
Formulate and execute strategic territory plans to optimize sales performance.
Cultivate customer value through effective feedback loops, both internal and external, fostering long-term relationships and profitability.
Lead monthly sales meeting with executive leadership.
Engage in approximately 25% travel to support business initiatives.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with exceptional organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
Proficient in effective communication through various modalities.
Collaborative mindset, capable of working seamlessly with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
Preferred experience in the agriculture equipment industry or related field.
Extensive proficiency in Salesforce, pipeline management, and growth strategies.
