Position Summary:

The Company is looking to fill the position of Regional Vice President (RVP), Southwest Region, for our multi-state region headquartered in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. The RVP will help ensure that the branch offices meet and exceed the organization's standards in leadership, customer service, safety, quality, operational excellence, and financial performance. The successful candidate would leverage and implement tools & tactics directly influencing the achievement of above-plan performance. You are expected to set ambitious standards for yourself and your team. The Regional Vice President is a transformational and motivational executive who operates with a Service Heart and embodies the organization's Built to Serve culture. This individual is tenacious at developing new revenue opportunities, securing customer loyalty, and forging long-term relationships.
Reporting Structure:
The Regional Vice President is one of three senior regional operations leaders in the Company and reports to the Executive Vice President of Operations. The current direct reporting structure consists of one VP of Ops and three General Managers. There is a total of 45 salaried management and administrative support personnel. The region includes three branch offices operating within three states. This footprint is expected to expand into additional states shortly due to acquisition and organic growth activity.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading, developing, and coaching the Regional Staff, General Managers, and Branch Teams to high performance.
Creates and monitors complex budgets, reduces expenses, and improves quality.
Accountable for workforce planning with a key focus on coaching leaders and ensuring effective people practices are in place, including successful recruiting and onboarding of new employees, employee engagement, performance management, recognition, development, and coaching.
Collaborates with senior executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans.
Responsible for meeting the region's overall operational and financial performance; maintains a focus on customer retention and increasing profitability.
Responsible for conducting weekly calls and facilitating monthly meetings with the regional management team.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Ensure that all branches meet or exceed customer expectations in a 24/7 environment.
Regularly personally engages with top-tier clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and foster strong client relations.
Ensure branch compliance with all relevant labor regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate and partner with the Vice President of Business Development to expand market presence.
Lead the integration and onboarding of acquired companies, as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bilingual (English, Spanish) required.
Proven experience in a leadership role within facility management or related service industry.
Seven-plus years of service industry experience, with at least four years in a multi-city management role with demonstrated experience developing and leading high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results.
Demonstrated experience in budget management.
Influential and people-focused leader with experience in the development and delivery of live training.
