The Portfolio Management, Enablement and Operations team aligns Data and Analytics (DnA) investments with strategic goals by prioritizing and driving the execution of high-value projects, assuring product quality and customer satisfaction,and showcasing our value broadly with partners. We enable both staff and customer productivity and promote the perceived value of DnA amongst our stakcustomersough execution of projects in the areas of learning, communications, operations, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Role Description
The Enablement & Operations team within the Data and Analytics organization is looking for an experienced director, skilled communicator, and strategic problem solver who is passionate about employee engagement, product enablement, operational efficiency, and community building. This leader will lead a growing team who prides themselves on being business strategists, creative communicators, and trusted advisors. They are dedicated to bringing great ideas to life through strong partnership and consistent execution. The person taking on this role will provide strategic direction to shape this function including department-wide communications, learning and development, and employee experience initiatives. They will work closely with subject matter authorities to quickly learn information,create appropriate strategy to package and share information, and create effective communications to drive awareness and engagement across the enterprise.
Primary Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Set the strategic direction for the growing Enablement and Operations team in consultation with Data and Analytics leadership.
Build, mentor, and lead a a successfuleam by setting clear goals and objectives, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional development.
Enablement:
Work with staff to develop and implement new, comprehensive enablement programs to empower the team with the knowledge, tools, and resources required to achieve goals.
Continuously assess and enhance existing product training and onboarding programs.
Operations
Lead efforts to streamline and optimize internal processes to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the management team.
Implement standard methodologies in project management, workflow automation, and resource allocation.
Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of standards, guidelines, and workflows that streamline processes department-wide.
Communications:
Support leadership team in executive level communications.
Lead internal communication efforts that drive awareness and adoption of products, tools, and content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to develop compelling content and targeted communication plans demonstrating our internal platforms.
Review communications drafted by other team members, edit, and provide feedback.
Data Analytics and Insights:
Apply data and analytics to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Make data-driven recommendations and drive initiatives based on insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track key performance metrics.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with team members throughout Data and Analytics and the company at large to ensure strong cross-group collaboration.
Change Management:
Drive organizational change initiatives by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes.
Employee Engagement:
Develop, refine, and execute employee engagement activities. Examples include analysis and action items from employee satisfaction surveys, the creation of a planning speaker series, organizing All Hands events, etc.
Write learning communications (Trailhead) which reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners at Salesforce.
Professional Experience/Skills Required
5+ years of people management experience
10+ years of experience in corporate communications or enablement
Proven track record performing well in a fast-paced environment, conforming to shifting priorities, driving in a highly ambiguous environment, broad-based demands, and stringent timelines.
Experience translating complex concepts into easy to understand and digestible communications across varied formats
Demonstrated ability to maintain focus on the strategic/big picture while diving into the details.
Excellent listening, verbal and written skills (both technical and creative). Speaks and writes with clarity, brevity, and purpose.
Strong proofreading, editing, and coaching skills.
Ability to multi-task across several concurrent projects and learn new applications quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience driving process improvements.
Proven track record of improving organizational efficiency and achieving measurable results.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $190,800 to $276,800.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
