Regional Sales Director

Los Angeles, CA, United States

Our client, a cannabis company is seeking a driven Regional Sales Director to collaborate closely with our Vice President of Sales in shaping and executing a sustainable and profitable sales strategy. This critical role requires leadership in coaching Branch Managers for performance management, talent development, and overall success. The position is based near Beverly Hills, CA with occasional travel on short notice.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the VP of Sales to craft and execute the company's sales plan, introducing innovative ideas to boost market share.

Oversee the region, ensuring the achievement or surpassing of sales goals.

Recruit, train, coach, and lead Branch Managers in implementing the company's sales plan, and conducting regular performance assessments.

Participate in monthly sales reviews with executive management, identifying market trends, and exploring new growth opportunities.

Work closely with Corporate teams (Operations, HR, Finance) to ensure adherence to best practices in local offices, offering recommendations for process enhancements and training needs.

Foster enduring client relationships by collaborating with local branches and conducting regular client visits.

Manage key account relationships as required to meet client needs.

Undertake additional duties as directed by the VP of Sales.

Skills and Requirements: At least 4 years of experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role, with a preference for experience in managing multiple offices or as a Regional Sales Manager.

Prior experience in managing sales teams is mandatory.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent preferred.

Must be based in CA with a readiness to travel to regional offices (20-40% of the time, occasionally on short notice).

Availability to respond to client or team concerns at night or on weekends, as required.

Proficient in measuring and analyzing key performance indicators.

Effective leadership and motivation of a sales team, adept at resolving issues for the success of local branches.

Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, multitasking, and time management skills.

Compensation: $100,000- $110,000 plus bonus and full benefits
