R10032518 Director of Sales (Open) Location: Mableton, GA (RDA) - Welding equipment rental How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Sales is responsible for the growth, management, and development of key national account customers within the specialty and industrial contractor market space along with the remarketing execution of our expired rental fleet.
This role requires effective management of the overall Red-D-Arc/Airgas value proposition (SGI) and a wide range of products and services to achieve organizational growth objectives. The Director of Sales will develop and administer sales performance metrics (KPI’s) and dashboard views with the assistance of the local District Management team. Essential Functions
Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety
guidelines.
Develops and implements sales growth strategies with both Red-D-Arc direct customers and via
the Airgas/Air Liquide sales channel, including developing training programs.
Works directly with Red-D-Arc and Airgas/Air Liquide sales teams, including the National /
Strategic Account managers, promoting rental, lease and sale of products via training, meetings
and customer visits.
Works with Red-D-Arc’s leadership team to develop successful strategic channel sales campaigns
and marketing programs.
Uses appropriate social media channels and marketing to promote national accounts and used
equipment sales
Stays abreast of current market trends. Identifies new areas of opportunity to expand the used
equipment sales outside of the USCA market space
Participates in district level meetings identifying and sharing best practices in a team
environment utilizing feedback from all sources.
Develops tactical sales plans with District Managers to increase sales penetration in the our
current national account portfolio
Identifies market segment growth plans with Airgas metal fabrication, energy, technology and
construction sharing this information with Red-D-Arc senior leadership
Participates in meetings with Airgas/Air Liquide senior leaders promoting the channel sales
programs available.
Meets or exceeds annual sales & profitability budget.
Maintains accurate and timely reports, including business plans and regional forecasts.
Performs other related duties as required.

Education
Post secondary education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in sales, management,
marketing or the equivalent work experience required.
Experience
Minimum of five years related working experience in the welding or rental industry.
Proven ability to manage associates directly and through influence
Background in selling through channel partners/industrial distribution (experience
selling to Airgas preferred)
Experience using analytics/data to drive sales activity and results
Skills and Abilities
Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
Knowledge of sales contracts with the ability to negotiate terms and conditions with C-level
executives, CEOs, company owners, or large-scale construction companies
Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to manage by influence and build strong high level relationships
Ability to identify opportunities and deploy appropriate resources
Ability to set goals and motivate self and others to achieve annual sales objectives
Ability to multi-task and work independently with little supervision.
Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
