A leading Food and Beverage Company is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Food, Safety and Quality. The Sr. FSQ Director will play a key role in the development and leadership of the company's FSQA programs.
The Sr. Director of Food, Safety and Quality will have the following responsibilities:
Develop and implement FSQ programs, ensuring compliance with federal/local regulations
Provide guidance to solve FSQ issues in an effective and timely manner, proactively make FSQ program changes to ensure problems do not persist
Develop/maintain company wide KPI's to track departments performance
Oversee/train a team of high performing FSQ employees
Represent the company externally in the areas of food, safety and quality
The ideal Sr. Director of Food, Safety and Quality candidate will have the following skillset:
Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred
8+ Years food, safety and quality experience
5+ Years managerial experience in the food and beverage industry or relevant field
Experience managing large and multi-site plants, preferred
Knowledge of FDA, HACCP, SSOP, SOP and GMP
Knowledge of food microbiology
