Working in the eprocurement sector, we are currently looking for a Sales Director to join our team at Periscope. As a qualified Sales Director, you are responsible for the sale of our Source to Pay suite in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to product distribution channel.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

* Contribute to mdf commerce's overall revenue growth.

* Attract and cultivate new Tier 1 customers (US States, Canadian provinces, large cities and counties).

* Increase sales by developing innovative strategies.

* Assist in generating new leads by effectively managing current connections and networking with ecosystems.

* Develop and present products/services presentations to prospects.

* Oversee the RFP response process for Tier 1 accounts.

* Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and other relevant customer information.

* Represent mdf commerce at tradeshows and industry events or associations' conferences.

* Work closely with marketing on GTM strategy definition and execution.

* Work as a team with the Solution Consultants, the Proposal Managers, and the Vice-President of Sales.

* Have an intimate understanding of mdf commerce products and services. Keep current with the latest industry trends and news. Check on competitive activity.

* Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;

* At least 10 years of sales experience;

* At least 5 years of sales experience with a software organization;

* Advanced training in recent sales techniques is preferred;

* Public sector experience is preferred;

* Enterprise SaaS experience is preferred.

* Knowledge of procurement is a strong asset.
