Position Overview :
The Business Development Executive will lead the sales growth efforts, key account management, and the establishment of new partnerships to drive revenue growth for Ancora Training. This role will manage a geographic region to deliver established goals. The role is expected to develop and implement a key accounts management and territory management strategy to drive growth for all Ancora Training programs.
Responsibilities include identifying partnership opportunities through developing business plans/strategies for new and existing partners. The ideal candidate must remain knowledgeable of market insights and strategic recommendations for existing and new partners and program opportunities. This position will define both short and long-term strategic goals concerning business growth and be responsible for managing key client relationships while maintaining an extensive knowledge of market conditions.
Responsibilities:
Ability to identify enhanced opportunities by expanding business through discovery and effective consultative sales processes.
Meets with existing senior management (C suite, Vice Presidents, and Directors) to expand relationships and secure Ancora Corporate Training partnerships and customized training opportunities.
Grows existing corporate accounts by creating expanded, strong, value-based partnerships and leveraging existing senior relationships within the employer base.
Manages and develops deep relationships with key stakeholders within existing Ancora Corporate Training clients.
Plans organizes and leads a consultative business development process resulting in a strategic account plan to grow the relationship.
Responsible for managing an existing account base.
Accountable for growth and revenue goals.
Conducts high-level strategy meetings and quarterly review meetings wherein the partnership is evaluated, measured, and altered to drive required results if necessary.
Introduces and details new product offerings and product enhancements to stakeholders.
Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by clients and awareness of competitors in the education space.
Facilitates effective brainstorming meetings with good judgment of what creative ideas will work and may create an execution plan to achieve those goals and motivate a team to execute ideas.
Understands industry trends and knows how they may affect the DeVry Works/Client relationship.
Keeps and maintains the Business Development databases that include proposals, budgets, project costs and analyses, letters, mailings, and contracts.
Assists with business development activities by working with the contracting and marketing of such activities to existing and potential clients.
Produces monthly management reports and supports client service and marketing activities.
Completes other duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field of study.
At least 5 years of experience including a combination of leading a business development or B2B sales team, developing and implementing territory management and key account management plans to deliver results
Experience with strategic planning, general management, and marketing in oil and gas, trucking, logistics, and heavy freight industries
Experience selling to senior leadership
Experience leading B2B sales to oil and gas corporations is a plus

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision as this position will be working remotely
Ability to be flexible with schedule as travel across the Texas region is critical for this position
Expert knowledge of products such as Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Chat and Gmail
