Overview We are looking for a Campus Director to join our growing team. The Campus Director is responsible for guidance and oversight over all operations for the GoDog campus (boarding, daycare, front desk, and all ancillary services) by maintaining GoDog brand standards and assuring adherence to GoDog policies and procedures. As the Campus Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and well-being of animals, maintaining a clean and safe environment, leading a team of dedicated staff, and overseeing business performance. Your focus will be on providing excellent animal care, ensuring smooth daily operations, growing the business, and promoting a positive and nurturing environment for our furry guests.

The Campus Director will report to the Vice President of Operations. Ideal candidates have industry-related experience and knowledge of canine behavior, common medications, and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
Creates a positive campus culture in alignment with GoDog’s values
Hire, onboard, and manage staff on GoDog processes and procedures
Oversee employee development and discipline
Manage staff schedule and payroll
Oversee and participate in daily campus operations alongside the Assistant Campus Director and staff
Lead all employees by managing the performance of direct reports and providing coaching, including the leadership team and attendants
Maintain operational standards and pass regular site visits
Collaborate closely with the HQ Team to set goals and implement plans to attain those goals
Manage overall campus performance (employees, volume, and business)
Manage compliance with safety regulations and dog and human first aid certifications
Plan and communicate event schedules for training and employee events
Plan and properly market community events and presence
Manage and maintain the campus budget, manage expenses and achieve revenue expectations
Oversee the implementation of marketing and social media strategies
Inventory and vendor management
Manage facility maintenance
Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as all holidays as these are our busiest times
Other duties as required
Qualifications
5 years professional animal care experience
5 years managing a staff of 10+ people
3 years previous management experience
2 year’s previous experience managing a staff of 15+ employees
Ability to lead with kindness, compassion, humility, and an even-keeled demeanor since dogs pick up on human energy
Excellent customer service skills and ability to educate pet parents on dog behavior and care
Excellent public relations skills for building relationships in the community and promoting the business
Proven work ethic, organizational skills, and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions
Ability to positively interact with the animals that GoDog services
Ability to regularly move throughout the facility to continuously interact with pets, customers, and staff using physical and mental stamina
Ability to clean up bodily fluids without becoming squeamish
Capability to competently complete the tasks required of any employee
Pet First Aid and CPR Certification
