Whitley Penn is looking for a Manager to join our Campus Recruiting team! The Campus Recruiting Manager will lead all campus recruiting processes and activities to recruit interns and associate level campus hires. The role involves a high-level of interaction with all levels of employees, including partners and management, as well as other members of the People team. The position oversees and executes the successful recruitment, onboarding, and internship programming of all interns and returning interns.

As a Campus Recruiting Manager, You Will:
Be a motivated player/coach who leads a team (two direct reports) while also rolling up your sleeves actively recruiting on-campus
Develop and implement effective campus recruiting strategies and approaches to stay competitive and attract high caliber talent
Manage full life cycle campus recruiting process (e.g., determine needs, post jobs, screen applicants, coordinate events/interviews, gather feedback, extend offers, events during internships, etc.)
Successfully plan, execute, and participate in campus events including career fairs, presentations, social events, and interviews resulting in intern and full-time associate hires
Manage the intern offer letter and return offer letter process for campus hires
Accurately track and communicate candidate offers and state/end/return dates for large volume of hires
Develop and maintain professional relationships with university accounting departments and career services centers
Act, with campus team, as the primary contact for candidates throughout recruiting and internship process
Shepard candidates through recruiting process and maintain accurate records in Handshake (Campus applicant tracking system) and other firm systems
Develop appropriate metrics, reports (campus pipeline), and dashboards to track qualitative and quantitative data to track progress, determine meaningful success and identify opportunities for improvement. Utilize information to strategize ways to enhance and improve results as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to create branding materials including updating the firm’s campus recruiting information on the website and ordering promotional items
Oversee the coordination of the Develop program (intern professional development) as well as intern social events during the internship
Maintain student relationships and re-connect with past students to assist in the hiring needs for associate level roles
Remain apprised of current and changing recruiting methods through research and development of external network, including participating in middle market public accounting recruiter meetings
Perform other duties as needed
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
5+ years of campus recruiting experience, preferably in a public accounting/professional services firm
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
Ability to implement and manage best practices for full cycle campus recruiting and attracting campus hires
Willingness to travel to target schools for on-campus events during recruiting seasons
Highly organized and able to successfully manage high volume of recruiting events, candidates, and offers
Ability to lead of team of two direct reports
Effective and polished communication skills (written and verbal) to use internally and externally with all levels of employees and candidates
High degree of proficiency systems and software including Handshake, UKG, and Microsoft Office. Able to quickly learn other software and database programs as needed.
Consult with management on hiring needs and candidates ensuring effective decision making.
