About the Role:
The Account Manager is responsible for handling our client partners (accounts). The account manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client, as they will be the lead point of contact for all upsell and land and expand opportunities. The Account Management role is part of the Thought Industries Sales organization and is responsible for the overall customer experience, lifetime value and retention.

What You’ll Do:
Prospect for new business opportunities within client family tree structure
Maintain and grow an existing book of business.
Feel a sense of accomplishment as you are empowered to deliver in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment
Develop a solid and trusting relationship across clients within a given territory and within Thought Industries
Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
Develop account plans and white space analysis to support 3x pipeline coverage across the portfolio
Maximize up-selling or cross-selling opportunities
Develop a complete understanding of account needs and anticipate account changes and improvements
Negotiate contracts with client and establish timeline of performance, including the SaaS renewal
Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
Analyze client data to provide customer relationship management
Expand relationships and bring in new clients
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, management or strategic account management. Prior experience within the learning management/customer education industry.
Experience selling into large global organizations
Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales and renewal goals
In-depth understanding of company strategic clients and their position in the industry
Extremely strong client management skills and ability to work with customers to demonstrate the value and power of the Thought Industries platform
Intellectually curious with a passion for what you do and a drive to succeed
Ability to build sales and business plans for new market segments within specified territories
Experience calling executives in marketing, sales, learning, and digital strategy
Adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct, honors commitments, and treats people with kindness, compassion, trust and respect
Experience in the learning management software sales domain in the following areas: Software, Professional Training, Associations, Manufacturing, and Business Services.
Experience with SFDC, Gainsight and Zendesk is preferred
Strong G-suite skills
