About the role...
ShopMy’s Business Development Rep (BDR) is a part of our high-performing sales team. You will hunt for prospective ShopMy clients and act as the first point of contact, representing ShopMy with an elite level of professionalism and commercial mindedness. Ultimately, your objective is setting up Account Executives for successful selling of our SaaS product to Luxury Brands.
This role is a unique and fulfilling opportunity that will make a significant impact on ShopMy’s growth trajectory.
Roles and responsibilities...
New Client Acquisition : Generate outbound qualified opportunities each month, hitting or exceeding your quota. Manage inbound pipeline.
Account Executive Support : Mindfully document, assess and communicate highly detailed notes (pain points, budgets, infrastructure, timeline) on prospects- using our CRM- to set AE’s up for successful demos.
Creative Research & Targeting Strategy : Work with the Brand Growth team to identify accounts and do extensive territory planning for the assigned leads. Also conduct prospect research within focused industry verticals.
Pipeline Management: excellent execution of HubSpot CRM data management ensuring data integrity and accurate notes are accessible for Sales team
Your skills and attributes...
Bachelor’s Degree
1-2 years of outbound sales and lead generation experience in B2B industry
Eloquent and self-confident written and verbal communicator, comfortable speaking with C level contacts
Creative problem solver who thrives in figuring out how to get in front of new business/leads
Excellent executor- you hit deadlines, take copious notes, and are quick to act on team needs
Interest in sales career with an early stage startup
Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure.
Team first mentality - #adaptability
Enterprise/SaaS/Cloud industry experience preferred
Self-motivated, self-starter, driven and dynamic personality.
Strong understanding of influencer marketing space
This position's base salary starts at $65,000 and has an uncapped commission component.
