Job Summary:
The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies.
Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews.
Conduct reference checks and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Relations:
Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts.
Promote a positive work environment through engagement and recognition programs.
Performance Management:
Support the performance review process by providing guidance to managers and employees.
Assist in developing performance improvement plans.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Training and Development:
Coordinate training sessions and workshops.
Assist in developing career development programs for employees.
HR Administration:
Prepare HR-related reports and documents.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Passion and drive for HR and supporting employees
Bilingual Spanish with ability to translate effectively
2+ years of experience in an HR role.
Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HIRS, and strong Excel skills
Experience in Manufacturing Industry
