Vice President, Physician Sales

The Vice President of Physician Sales is Responsible for development and deployment strategic physician facing sales initiatives to achieve site-level revenue goals tied to same-store growth physician referral activity. Provide national leadership support for the Physician Services Representatives reporting to operations.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Defines, implements, and adjusts sales strategy and to align with business objectives and successful achievement of revenue goals. Navigates changing and challenging markets sustain to improve the company’s market share and competitive position. Recommends changes in sales strategy and advises on market considerations affecting sales.
Provides guidance and consulting to executive leadership for developing division-wide sales and physician referral programs and strategies. Provides expertise to site and market sales activity, enabling achievement of critical goals and objectives within set budgets. Oversees all aspects of sales and develops measurements for analysis, trending and forecasting to support same store growth objectives
Oversees the development and delivery of sales training programs to onboard new Team Members and grow existing Physician Services Representative skill capacity through a continuous learning curriculum (internal/external courses, field visits, national meetings, etc.).
Works with Senior Operations leaders on the development and delivery of same-store-growth and revenue budgets, monitors industry and the company’s trend data, forecasts performance to budget and reviews performance variances.
Cultivates a high-performing team for the purpose of achieving company goals, meeting changing business demands and delivering consistent results in challenging environments.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience sales, management and business experience.
Minimum of seven (7) years proven success in physician-selling environment
Minimum of five (5) years leading a national/regional sales or field marketing organization
Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives.
Strong leadership and management skills and success in building and leading a results-driven team of sales professionals.
Solid business acumen, strategic planning, problem solving and relationship building skills.
Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior level and executive management.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with other department heads and staff members at all levels of the organization to create a team-oriented environment.
Highly effective time management skills and ability to multi-task efficiently.
60% Travel may be required
Preferred:
Master’s degree (MBA or MHA) preferred
