We are proud of our 1,300 dedicated employees, who together produce 1.1 million metric tons of paper annually.The Sales Director position will report to the Vice President of Sales and is located in the United States supporting customers in their assigned territory. This role is responsible for effectively developing and managing the sale of Printing & Writing Paper products to printers, merchants, brokers and End Users. The direct and in-direct sales process has a keen focus on meeting contribution goals and driving the profitability and operational objectives of the company. Job Responsibilities Identify and develop key accounts that purchase Printing & Writing Papers
Responsible for developing key strategic accounts and meeting sales objectives
Develop a 12-month rolling forecast for assigned customer and prospect lists
Establish long term reliable relationships with key contacts in accounts, working to always establish “last look” at existing or future business
Establish ND Paper as the solution provider within the assigned region
Advocate on behalf of customers within context of protecting the company’s goodwill, reputation and viability
Provide insight, intelligence and expertise that complement the SVP's Sales & Marketing strategies
Maintain on going relationships with existing business accounts
Responsible for communicating any issues, concerns and achievements to direct supervisor
Support production planners to optimize schedules
Support Credit team with problematic collection activities
Support Product development efforts within the company
Support the distribution function by assisting in managing customer expectations and behaviors to optimize freight and manufacturing costs
Travel as needed throughout assigned territory to both current and prospective customers up to 60% Travel required.

Required Experience 5+ years of experience selling Printing & Writing Papers
Ability to develop long term relationships with customers
Proven track record of achieving sales goals
Demonstrate strong business acumen
Ability to successfully operate in a team environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s degree preferred
