About The Role
Ogilvy is in search of a dynamic and independent Account Director to help support the day-to-day regional business needs on a client. Specifically, you will be the lead agency contact to your assigned region(s) supporting regional marketing team and their dealer advertising groups (DAGs).

Bonus - Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus, however this is not a requirement for the position.
Account Management
Understands the client’s business and anticipates their needs and expectations. You identify solutions and always act in your client’s best interests.
Collaborates with client teams, dealers, and agency partners to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.
Manages budgets, oversees project timelines and fulfills ongoing creative deliverables.
Has a complete understanding of organization structures, processes, business plans and overall brand goals.
Identifies and develops new agency processes to help streamline agency workflow and overall speed to market.
Core Responsibilities
Lead point-of-contact for client’s regional marketing team, dealer advertising groups, agency partners, and client vendors.
Project leader for Ad Hoc regional creative requests - oversees creative production, timelines, budgets, and helps to manage agency teams.
Monthly Tier 2 creative support – manages the fulfillment of TV/OLV, print, OOH, radio, etc.
Regional sponsorships – key agency point-of-contact. Requires you having a complete understanding of brand CI. This involves ongoing communication and coordination with sponsor, client, and agency partners.
Local market expert – you must learn, anticipate and adapt to local market nuances.
Miscellaneous Support
Ad Hoc Tier 3/dealer requests – offers creative support to dealers and their local agency partners.
Regional event support – when necessary, provide on-site activation support to client regional team and their vendors.
Travel Requirements
Estimated travel is 15% per/quarter.
In-person meetings with dealer advertising groups (2x per/year)
Internal Region team meetings (2x per/year)
Occasional in-person meetings with client regional teams to discuss state of business and outstanding Tier 2/3 marketing needs.
1:1 meeting with dealers, as required
Team Structure
Regional Account Director reports into Executive Group Regional Director
EGD oversees the regional operations and is responsible for the development and structure of regional team.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$75,000—$180,000 USD
