Camillo Companies offers a competitive internship program in the built-to-rent, single-family rental homes and townhomes industry in Texas. Our internship offers a variety of disciplines across the business designed to provide a practical work experience and development opportunities for students that want exposure in this rapidly growing industry.

We are seeking motivated and talented individuals to assist with the daily operations of the business, special projects, and various assignments. This is a ten-week paid-internship program that will run from September 16 - November 22 . The goal of this program is to help further develop your communication, leadership, and professional skills while gaining valuable real-world experience in a work environment for a dynamic organization.

As an Intern, you will work closely with a Department Lead who will provide you with hands-on projects and daily tasks to help you become career ready. Job Title: IT Intern

Status: Part-Time Non-exempt, Hourly

Job Summary:

Camillo Companies is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.

Duties/Responsibilities: Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.

Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.

Organize and maintain IT resources.

Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, networking, analytics, and data management.

Learn and maintain SharePoint.

Learn, develop, and/or maintain cloud architecture.

Required Skills/Abilities: Familiar with the Microsoft technology stack (Office, Azure, etc.)

Strong verbal and written communication

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work well in teams.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer-focused demeanor with demanding clientele.

Excellent time management skills, detail-orientation and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with advanced conflict resolution skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co-workers throughout the organization.

Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

Education and Experience: Enrolled and currently attending an Associate Degree program, 2-year program, Community College, or 4-year program at a College or University.

Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major

Minimum GPA of 3.0
