Vice President of Business Development

I'm seeking a VP of business development role in the EU and the US for one of my amazing clients. This client is a leading global company (GSK, Pfizer, Lonza) driven to build a world-class platform for route and process development and cGMP manufacturing; they support pharmaceutical companies globally, with a focus on Small molecules/Chiral molecules, Oligonucleotides, and Lipids, process development, optimization, scale-up and manufacturing, Key Raw materials, RSMs, Intermediates, and APIs.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of business development/sales and scientific/technical experience in the CDMO industry with an existing customer in the US/EU
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or other relevant discipline.
In-depth understanding of the sales process from plan to close.
Ability to articulate and adapt to large pharmaceutical organizations and small start-ups to provide value-added solutions.
Experience/understanding of the proposal development process, business quotes, budgeting, and managing defined timelines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence through a high degree of business acumen and successfully position the company's service offerings.
