Texas Market Leader/Employee Benefits

The Market Leader is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, and Account Analysts. This includes oversight and direction of the Texas Employee Benefits Division, including but not limited to compliance with workflow and customer service standards as well as employee development and performance management.
What You'll Do
Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

Leadership
Ultimate responsib ility for all workflow and customer service standards compliance for Service Teams
Provide s leadership to team members through consistent meetings to provide ongoing training and development opportunities , recognize s opportunities for growth , and assist s in their expansion of industry knowledge to better serve our clients
Drive s results and provide governance of strategic initiatives
Work s closely with the Leadership Team to support and develop agency initiatives
Foster s positive working relationships with Clients, Producers, and Client Advisor teams
Manage s P&L for the market and provide s updates to Leadership Team
Empower s employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
Maintains o wnership of vendor/partner relationships by market ( i .e., Texas )
Ownership of Epic metrics for measuring revenue
Partner s with Producers to meet clients and bring in new business
Actively participate s in IMA management meetings
People Managaement
Strategic assignment s and reassignment of business with Account Executives, as needed throughout the year, contemplating growth, shifts in service center business and development of associate knowledge/ expertise and opportunity
Responsib ility for day-to-day coaching and management of team including escalated client, carrier , and accounting issues
Manage s PTO approval, performance reviews, timecards, and back-up plans
Serve s as gatekeeper for complaints and challenges (client, producer, marketing, etc.) or E&O related matters
Account Service
Manage s a book of business and build s relationships with clients
You Should Have
Bachelor's degree preferred
5 to 10 years of insurance industry experience
A ttains and maintains a state Life and Healthlicense and fulfill s continuing education requirements to retain licensing
Prior management experience with demonstrated ability to drive results in a team-oriented
