Dusty Robotics is the leading solution to ensure design integrity in the field through automated layout and a streamlined BIM-to-field process. Dusty delivers a combination of hardware, software, and services that fit seamlessly into existing construction work processes by printing digital models directly on the jobsite floor with 1/16" accuracy based directly on Revit or AutoCAD models. Dusty has enabled contractors to print over 100 million square feet of layout across thousands of buildings and is trusted by leading general contractors such as DPR and Skanska as well as trade contractors in framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

The position

They are known to build teams of high-octane sellers that are mission driven.

This individual thrives in social and client interactions, effortlessly picking up the phone to engage with clients. They lead from the front by demonstrating to their direct reports how an exceptional seller executes deals as a player/coach. They have a rich background starting in roles that can be considered taxing/mundane, excelling into strategic selling positions, and have been chosen to develop/lead a Mid-market/Enterprise Account Executive team (as part of an energetic high-growth startup preferred.)

Track record of collaborating with sales leaders and revenue operations teams to make data-driven decisions, food service, or manual labor, knowing that these build character, work-ethic, and grit. They have a mission-driven mindset for personal and professional growth for their teams. They have experience competing on a team where the value of teamwork has led to a winning mindset. Your Role at Dusty

As the Director of Sales at Dusty, you will:

Consult, design, support, and manage sales of customer activity involving all products and services offered by the company

Build and Lead a Sales Team from series B and beyond

Prepare sales forecasts, sales budgets, and quotas for the sales team

Coach 1:1 with account executives to make them effective and exceed expectations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and advocates

Collaborate with other sales leaders to create a stellar buyer experience

Work closely with other leaders in sales, marketing, sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, go-to-market systems, and sales enablement to drive the growth of the business

Monitor and refine processes, metrics, and tools to increase the success on the sales team

Proactively seek out new information and insights to drive improvement within the team

Brief senior management on market conditions, economic trends, competitive activities, and take corrective action as necessary to maintain Dusty's edge

Learn to run our robot and become an evangelist for robotic construction technology

Qualifications

5+ years leading sales teams in companies series B and beyond

Experience as a player/coach leading a sales team that sells into multiple stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to explore complex problems and identify creative solutions

Ability to evaluate and discern trends and develop or shift strategy

Strong understanding of sales best methodologies (MEDDPICC, Sandler, Challenger Sale, etc.)

Prior experience selling a product with a physical component

Humility and empathy for the challenges our prospects face daily

Experience with, or deep knowledge of, the construction industry (personal or professional), is an enormous plus

Where You'll Work:

Dusty's offices are located in Mountain View, CA. You will be working from our office in this role to facilitate rapid coordination with executive leadership and business teams. You can also expect to travel a small amount to customer locations around the US.
