Summary
The TEMP Administrator, MQ Operations Planning (KPI/Analysis) position will support the Planning Manager in executing data analysis and optimization of vendor code alignment. Key functions include price management, interactions with procurement team, other functions pertaining to support operation team tasks and setting up internal & external KPIs. Additional core duties may be added in future tied to operations planning tasks.
Compensation
$30.00-$34.00/Hour
Responsibilities
• Data Mining & Analysis• Generate periodic reports required by management to assess performance ( internal reports & external reports )• Coordinate with MQ operations for operational improvements through data analysis / performance analysis• MQ operation Cost Management ( Principal for AP/AR cost management )• Coordinate RFP bidding process with carriers & manage appropriate AP rates• Maintain appropriate AR rate with TMS systems & coordinate with Operations and Admin to ensure appropriate AP/AR guidelines are followed appropriately• Support conducting periodic review/audit with MQ operations• Develop Carrier Pool to ensure appropriate carrier capacity is maintained• Develop Cargo Shipper to augment cargo load-out needs• Support administering the update of tariffs in the system
• Operations Planning: Develop and plan delivery expectations and goals, and ensure all monthly / yearly goals are met• Plan monthly operations to maximize carrier usage efficiently & effectively to achieve goals• Operations troubleshooting: Identify needs & root cause of issues and provide support / propose solutions as needed• Monitor carrier capacity to meet customer demand & support with action plans• Manage Sales/Customer delivery planning and forecasting• Develop and oversee process improvement initiatives in order to improve efficiency / KPI measurement• Carrier development via vendor performance matrix and maintain close rapport with carriers and customers• Develop SOP & KPI for efficient & effective operations• Improve customer service & improve profitability of MQ operations, including cost reduction initiatives
• New vendor register task: vendor code creation or vendor code updates• Work closely with Admin for maintaining proper cost structure & provide support to clear vendor invoice review a needed• Support maintaining proper system ( TMS / YMS / Damage Tracker ) development/ data / pricing/ reporting support• Other job roles can be added pending additional projects assigned to planning team
