They are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join their plaintiff's personal injury law firm. As an HR Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of human resources functions, with oversight of another HR role. There is substantial room for growth within the firm. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of relevant HR experience, an understanding of HR best practices, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment for the staff.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.

- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates to schedule interviews and provide relevant information.

- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, benefits, policies, and procedures.

- Contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.

HR Administration:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronically and in physical files.

- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, including employment contracts, offer letters, and performance evaluation forms.

Benefits and Compensation:

- Support benefits administration by assisting employees with enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health, dental, retirement, and other benefits.

- Assist in the annual compensation review process by gathering data and preparing relevant reports.

Compliance and Policies:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Paylocity is a plus; Microsoft Office Suite experience is a must.

- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

- Detail-oriented and accurate; strong work ethic; self-motivated; eager to learn; positive attitude about work, life, and the world.
