Warehouse Personnel - FB Job Details Job Location Houston - Houston, TX Position Type Full Time Description Warehouse personnel are responsible for the loading and unloading of stock from warehouse into tractor/trailers and from tractor/trailers to warehouse. The warehouse personnel report to the warehouse supervisor that is working at that time. They must be certified in P.I.T. (Powered Industrial Trucks) and be able to operate P.I.T. equipment. Rotation of stock is important to ensure that the outgoing product is of the best quality. Must use safety precautions while performing task and attend required safety training. Employee must be a team player and share responsibilities with the team. Employee must communicate and work with other members of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales. Employees will cooperate with other employees, supervisors and management and perform other duties as requested by supervisor or manager.

- Be Favorite Brand certified and able to driver a P.I.T.
- Must wear safety shoes
- Must punch in and out for shift
- **Daily responsibilities:**
- Must perform safety check of P.I.T. equipment prior to use.
- Report any discrepancies to mechanics before beginning duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse area.
- **Duties (Day Shift 5AM -1:30PM):**
- Timeclock: Must punch in and out for worked shift. Must also punch out when going to lunch and punch in when returning from lunch.
- Help Drivers load product once verified.
- Perform first count on the inventory for assigned aisles from Inventory Control Specialist on picking and bulk aisles.
- Unload shipments from long hauls and containers
- Make locations and codes using the scanner for product
- Check for empty spot on racks and verify no product is present for that location code
- Check back stock items for product and move to correct locations for picking
- Assign new locations to product as it is being moved around in the warehouse
- Fill pick lines from the bulk bins
- Start pulling transfer loads to be shipped to other warehouse
- Break down load by products and vintage years
- Use scanners to verify UPC, scan spot, then scan the product and place it in correct bin.
- Make sure all product is shrink wrapped on a second level
- Pull any orders for night shift that have come in.
- Mark an broken bottles on Bill of Lading before long haul driver leaves
- Clean the warehouse
- Take out the trash
- Get supervisor to sign off on any broken or damaged product
- Clean up spills or liquids immediately
- Put up returns in the bins if any come back for the day.
- Report any unsafe conditions or potential safety issues
- **Duties (Night Shift 12PM - until finish):**
- Timeclock: Must punch in and out for worked shift. Must also punch out when going to lunch and punch in when returning from lunch.
- Pull orders as they come in from the salesperson
- Use scanners to scan product UPC and location codes and verify product that is being picked for routes.
- Replenish picking lines from the back stock
- Pull all transfer orders to be shipped to other warehouses
- Line up orders based on routes
- Clean up spill or liquids immediately.
- **Product Rotation:**
- Keep good rotation procedures and check vintages of product
- Rotate all product according to manufacturer specifications.

- **Equipment:**
- Keep the company equipment in 1st class condition with special care given to vehicles brakes, tires, fuel, fluids, and safety equipment.
- Report all equipment problems promptly.
- Report accidents to your supervisor and office immediately after they occur.
- **Company Objectives:**
- Be supportive of all company objectives.
- Keep your supervisor and management aware of stock supply.
- Keep good clean attitude towards working environment.
- **Physical Demands and Qualifications:**
- Frequent tasks (25%-100% of the day that could last from 6-12 hours depending on the number of cases sold and delivered for that day)
* To help load/unload wine and beer cases at warehouse and move/remove pallets.
* This consists of standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, lifting, twisting, reaching/overhead reaching, walking, stair climbing, and driving. Cases vary in weight from 10-50lbs
* Sitting for prolonged periods of time while unloading warehouse trailers from A-B
* Cases and kegs may be pushed / pulled on a dolly and each dolly can have 1-20 cases each load.
+ Ability to operate a two or four wheeled hand-truck.
* Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
* Ability to operate Powered Industrial equipment and maintain proper safety standards
* Employees must perform pivoting on one foot (with and without product) and negotiate steps with functional balance in both static and dynamic tasks. We administer functionally directed balance tests such as the unipedal stance for 15 seconds as one aspect of appropriate balance.
* Employees must maintain balance while moving product as fast as possible and while reaching as far as possible.
- Moderately frequent tasks (0%-25% of the day that could last from 6-12 hours depending on the number of cases sold and delivered for that day):
* To help load/unload wine and beer kegs at warehouse. Kegs vary in weight from 165lbs.
* This consists of standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, lifting, twisting, reaching/overhead reaching, walking, stair climbing, and driving
**11. Training Requirements**
- At the discretion of management, the employee may be asked to undergo periodic safety training.
