Roles and Responsibilites
Summary and Overall Objectives:
Oversee all daily sales operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, operations, sales and merchandising including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and customer service
Evaluate sales versus goal and meet with sales managers regularly to address the status.
Schedule and oversee team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
Meet regularly with team leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages
Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved
Managing and decrease expenses by creating efficiencies, and evaluating the vendors we use
Manage the locations P&L
Monitor measurements against budget, and/or targets of key performance metrics. Review cost of operations and enhance profitability of L&F Distributors, including sales calls.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
Ability to work with all levels of company staff
Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel
Leadership qualities and demonstrated organizational skills
Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
