Responsible for managing a proactive employee relations function consistent with our visions and values and in alignment with our people strategy. Provide advice, counsel, and guidance to people managers at all levels of the organization. Conduct research and investigations of complaints, charges, and lawsuits. Manage employee relations processes to ensure a proactive, fair and consistent approach. Provide training to management on employment law and workplace trends. Assists Director with establishing a policy framework and support of inclusion initiatives.

JOB PURPOSE:

Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or an equivalent field.

In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Three (3) years of combined HR experience in a specialist of generalist capacity, with at least one (1) year of focused experience conducting employee relations investigations and handling employee relations issues.

Solid track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives.

Extensive knowledge of HR core competencies: recruiting, benefits, compensation, technology, training, organizational development, and learning and development.

(If no degree, a total of nine (9) years of experience required).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters degree, PHR or related certification preferred.

PeopleSoft experience preferred.
