SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE :

Cor Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Specialist to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary People & Culture team. This comprehensive position will have broad interaction with team members across all of our sister companies. Key responsibilities include creating an exceptional team member experience through engagement and partnership on critical aspects of our total reward offering. You will be involved in the management and administration of all of our benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D, voluntary benefits, leaves of absence, wellness, and our 401(k) plan.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Contribute to the efficient, effective, and strategic management of our benefits function

Deliver an expert and specialist partnership to our team members, creating an engaging and supportive experience consistent with our people-centric culture

Respond to inquiries from leaders, colleagues, and vendors on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, contributions, and other general inquiries

Run new hire orientation

Reconciliation of benefit invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment

Contribute to our engagement and communication strategy across benefits, 401k, wellness, and open enrollment, to include development and maintenance of communications materials

Manage Open Enrollment together with our internal team and external partners

Partner with Payroll team on ensuring accuracy and execution of employee benefit deduction changes

Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and data integrity

Assist with International benefits for Canada and administration of overseas plans

Deliver results through effective partnership with our insurance brokers, 3rd party administrators, and 401k partners

Responsible for all leaves of absence and be the subject-matter expert related FMLA, STD, LTD, and Workers Comp.

Provides best in class service in the area of Team Member support with all benefit programs to the department's divisional customers.

Oversees the preparation and distribution of Forms 1094 and 1095-C forms along with state filings.

Proactively identify process improvements and work to enhance procedures

Initiate and oversee Team Member wellness program.

Assist with plan compliance and auditing process (e.g. 401(k) and 5500, ACA)

Maintain up to date benefit information on the intranet and Workday system.

Partners with the People & Culture teams at the divisional level to proactively engage and communicate benefits, legislative, policy, and practices.

Ensures that benefits programs are administered and records are maintained in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, and value is generated by the services provided.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or relevant field.

Minimum 5 years of benefits experience in a corporate environment. Global experience preferred.

Excellence in data, audits, analysis, and reporting.

Solid understanding and working knowledge of federal, state, and local legislation.

Strong skill set in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel) and Workday.

Detail oriented and highly motivated, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong organizational skills

Excellent writing, presentation, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

Consistently demonstrates professionalism, integrity and the highest standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct; conducts oneself in a manner that reflects favorably on the organization.

Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information, exercising sound judgment and discretion in any disclosure of information related to Cor Partners and its endeavors.

Commits to continuous improvement and professional development for self and Team Members.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Current Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Proficiency in and working knowledge of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).

WORKING CONDITIONS :

Work is generally performed in a typical office environment, with limited exposure to harsh weather conditions, loud internal or external noise, fumes, or significant temperature changes.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS :

Work can involve lifting and carrying up to 10 - 20 lbs.; frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching; occasional kneeling and stooping; operating office equipment; visual acuity to prepare, read, and organize detailed hard copy and electronic documents; ability to speak and to hear the spoken word in normal face-to-face, telephonic, and web-based business communications. Willingness to accommodate occasional meetings and work activities that may be scheduled after normal daytime business hours.
