What will you have the opportunity to do?

Provide sales direction and leadership; be accountable for short- and long-term growth/profitability; direct, administer, and coordinate activities; make recommendations regarding the development and implementation of goals relating to sales, marketing, operations, employees, and financial performance. To provide the highest-level client experience through these interactions.

What do we need from you?

High School education is required and college is ideal

10 years of transportation logistics/freight forwarding operational experience. Experience rating and routing freight.

Knowledge of the Industrial Industry.

Knowledge of international and domestic geography, including countries & major cities.

Experience negotiating rates with trucking companies and overseas partners, a plus.

Knowledge of FMC, IMCO, ITA, TSA, C-TPAT, HAZMAT, and US Customs Border Protection, a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong presentation and listening skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Leadership and supervisory skills

Planning and organizational skills

Analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; able to make quality fact-based decisions using the appropriate information.

Highly motivated team player with an outgoing and positive work attitude.

Functional experience with Microsoft Office products.

Ability to think strategically, synthesize the most complex business/financial data, and develop innovative solutions.

Able to work effectively as a member of a team, lead complex project teams, and facilitate progressive change.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors, and interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.

Ability to solve practical business and math problems.

Ability to travel locally to area businesses and client sites.

Ability to relate to and successfully interact across a variety of settings and work well with a broad and diverse workforce throughout the organization.
