The primary responsibility of the Account Executive is to deliver a variety of solutions for service providers to attract leads, build their online reputation, and establish brand leadership in their industry through a consultative sales process. The Account Executive is a dedicated sales professional who serves as the subject matter expert and advisor to small to medium sized businesses in a number of industries.
This is a key client-facing role in which you will engage pre-qualified prospects and new target service providers over email, phone, and video chat to convert into paid clients by using thorough product knowledge and analyzing what advertising options, profile enhancements, etc. are best solutions for each individual client. At Clutch, our high-achieving Account Executive leads with empathy and takes initiative when building rapport with clients to understand their business goals, are energized in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and have a winning mentality.
Responsibilities
Leverage an existing pipeline of prospects to convert to paid agreements; as well as, uncover and qualify new prospects into the pipeline by researching and conducting outreach to target businesses
Drive a high-volume of short-cycle sales processes from start to close for small to medium sized new logo clients in diverse industries
Champion Clutch to meet the needs of our clients by being the subject matter expert in our product solutions and offerings
Establish a strong client rapport with valuable touch points via phone, email, and video to become their trusted advisor
Capture all stages of sales activities, client interactions, follow-ups, etc. with detailed and accurate notes in HubSpot
Execute on consistently exceeding monthly sales targets
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a top performer in B2B or Marketplace sales
Very experienced working in a CRM system
High level of written, verbal, and video communication and interpersonal skills utilized to engage and close deals
Strong organizational skills with an effective and proven sales process
Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to create new opportunities and connect challenges to solutions
Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed in a hyper growth team that makes a positive impact for both Clutch and our clients
Open to working hybrid work schedule in Washington, DC office
