Candidate will provide support as part of 24/7 support team on-site at the Rail Control Center, Power Control Center and the Backup Rail Control Center. Candidate will install, update and maintain computer hardware and software on computer equipment supported by the MTA. The position will provide Microsoft Windows and Apple OS support for the unit in the Technology Department assigned to troubleshoot and deploy computer equipment and software. • Experience with Oracle client based applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
• Experience with Cisco networking devices.
• Experience with Ethernet cabling.
• Familiar with networking protocols like TCP/IP, multicast and networking concepts.
• Experience with Visio/ CAD and technical drawing is desired.
• Experience with Unix, Linux and Solaris is desired.
• Good interpersonal, strong oral and written communication skills.
