Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Primary Function:
This position is the main point of contact for organizational level discussions with Health Systems, or customers in other segments in the healthcare industry and is responsible for working to expand their purchasing relationships with HCL. Points of contact will be with supply chain management, executives, and department heads.
Responsibilities:
Main point of contact for organizational level discussions and work to expand their relationship with HCL.
Investigate and implement new methods to increase sales of these facilities through direct contact by phone calls, emails, site visits, or trade shows. Travel as needed to meet face to face with main contacts.
Investigate and implement ways to create mutually beneficial relationships or decide whether the relationship is positive/negative for HCL and take corrective actions.
Open discussion lines with accounts to create a better streamlined conversation on accounting and/or shipping issues.
Continue to improve HCL's image and services as a large supplier in the healthcare industry.
Requirements
Travel up to 20% of the quarter
Possesses a bachelor's degree
Sales skills in a consultative selling or equivalent environment
Possesses the needed fundamental skill levels of reading for information, applied mathematics, locating information, listening, and writing
Maintains a high level of accuracy
Ability to work effectively and communicate with company staff and customers
Possesses strong verbal and written skills
Ability to work independently and manage work tasks effectively
Maintain satisfactory or better attendance and punctuality
Thorough knowledge of Windows, order processing and internet software
Ability to work as an effective team member
Inbound & outbound phone work: Requires ability to continually sit with frequent preferred hand and other hand use and finger dexterity. Rare frequency to alternate sitting and standing; twisting; bending; kneeling and squatting. Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
Customer visits, travel & trade shows: Frequent standing/walking/lifting & carrying up to 30# without assistance; with occasional preferred and other hand use, as well as preferred and other arm reach; occasional need to kneel/squat. Continuous ability for near/far vision and hearing.
