Core Responsibilities: Identify and qualify new business opportunities by conducting market research, networking, and engaging with potential clients
Develop comprehensive capture plans, including win strategies, competitive analysis, and risk assessment
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Support Services, Managing Directors, and Sr. Leadership to ensure successful capture and proposal efforts
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with customers, partners, and other stakeholders
Participate in the proposal process to create compelling proposals that effectively communicate the value ReefPoint Group offers and that meet the client requirements
Monitor and report on the capture progress, win rates, and other key performance metrics
Stay current on industry trends, competition, and regulatory changes that may impact ReefPoint Group’s capture strategies and business development efforts
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, capture management, or related role required with the VA sector required
Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated experience and success personally capturing opportunities
Demonstrated experience and success leading teams to capture opportunities
Demonstrated experience developing winning proposals
Demonstrated experience making bid/no-bid decisions
Demonstrated experience with IDIQs pursuit and capture
A well-established network and connections within the Federal government sector
Understand federal contracting, ethics, and procurement practices
US Citizen
Work Authorization/Security Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required.
Work Location: This position is on a hybrid work schedule, with some time spent in our Tysons Corner, VA office.
Work Environment: Work will be done in an office setting/environment and will need to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment. The person in this role will need to have the ability to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and occasionally will need to move about inside an office environment. This position frequently communicates with other employees and external stakeholders. The person needs to have the ability to accurately exchange information in these settings. This position is on a hybrid work schedule, with some time spent in our Tysons Corner, VA office.
