Responsibilities

SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is looking for a Capture Manager to be a key member of the SkyePoint Growth Team and be directly involved in meeting established new business growth targets. This person will lead growth, qualify business opportunities, perform detailed market analysis, develop comprehensive capture budgets, engage government customers in meaningful discussions related to challenges and solutions, establish effective teaming solutions, and lead solution development and support proposal development.

Location: This is a hybrid position requiring two days/week in the corporate office in Dulles, VA.

Provides Capture Strategy, Pricing, and team oversight for opportunities

Drive full capture lifecycle from identification through proposal, including customer contacts and pulling together winning teams

Develop and execute customer call plans, to include customer program leads and stakeholders

Lead business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, bid development, opportunity gate reviews, and proposal reviews

Develop and manage pricing strategies with the support of internal and external pricing, price-to-win, and business intelligence resources

Provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing strategic business objectives

Manage responses to market research inquiries, attend industry events, represent SkyePoint at industry and Government conferences, and participate in customer meetings

Provide support to proposal team including content development

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience

5+ years of progressive Federal business development/capture management responsibilities

Experience in the Fed Civ market

Relevant business development, capture management, and proposal development experience

Experience working directly with customers and teaming partners

Experience and results in targeting select markets, identifying, qualifying and winning new business opportunities

Demonstrated success in leading and winning major multi-year service opportunities >$20M

Demonstrated leadership in pursuits and projects

Understanding of successfully competing and winning new business in a full and open, competitive environment

Experience managing B&P budgets

Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.  Active Top Secret clearance is preferred.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Price-to-win experience is preferred

Familiarity with Salesforce a plus

Training in the Shipley Method is preferred

Price-to-win identification and experience is preferred

Compensation:

Salary Range: $135,000 - $165,000

The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package.

Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
