Title: HR Coordinator - Contractor
Location: On-site with future flexibility to Hybrid - 60604
Contract: Long-Term
The Human Resources Contractor will have mainly administrative responsibilities. The role will partner with the Human Resources team and Talent Acquisition to undertake a wide range of HR tasks, including, but not limited to developing programs and special projects, such as scanning, filing creating and/or reorganizing paper and electronic folders and files.
Contract Responsibilities:
Provide operational support to HR team as needed
Provide backup support and advice to employees and regarding the implementation and execution of HR policies, standards and procedures
Reorganize files and folders and develop processes such as maintenance of paper/electronic personnel files and adherence to SOPs and document retention
Review and offer suggestions to HR communication items
Contribute to development proposal for summer intern and health/wellness programs
Provide support for HR projects and initiatives as needed
Job Requirements:
Experience with Human Resources processes, especially relating to HR Coordinator or Generalist roles and Bachelor's degree and/or HR certification preferred but not required
Experience working with employment regulations, laws and compliance requirements
Knowledge of HR best practices, programs and processes
Familiarity and proficiency working with Human Resource Information systems
Creative thinker, self-starter and strong team player
Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Excellent written, verbal communication and people skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in the handling of highly confidential information
Sense of urgency and commitment to high level of client service
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
