Essential Functions of Administrative Assistant : Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office
Answers phones and greets visitors
Prepares communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding and scanning
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques
Qualifications of Administrative Assistant : High School Diploma or general equivalency is required
Previous experience in an office environment is preferred
Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
Knowledge of bookkeeping process and financial management and its related software
Proficient computer skills with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to implement standard office procedures/practices and able to operate office equipment
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
