Vice President of Central Operations
Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Vice President of Central Operations to join our team!
As the Vice President of Central Operations you will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee all operations support departments within the pharmacy, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the pharmacy.
General Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:
Collaborates with executive leadership and other divisions and departments to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects and systems.
Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials within the central services departments.
Reviews, analyzes, and approves profit and loss statements, balance sheets, department budgets, cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for business unit to ensure progress towards operational and financial goals. Ability to manage key levers to create value.
Maintains knowledge of emerging general and pharmacy technologies and trends in central service operations. Operational adoption of new technology per strategic plan.
Participates in formulating and administering company policy and developing, implementing, and communicating strategic plans, long range goals, and objectives.

5-10 years of experience in Pharmacy or related healthcare field.
Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree from an accredited healthcare institution preferred.
Knowledgeable of pharmacy pricing and reimbursement process Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
