About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of IT to lead its Global Information Technology team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's digital transformation, working closely with senior leadership to develop and maintain a strategic IT roadmap that supports the company's growth. This hands-on management role requires the ability to deep-dive into technical issues, manage the IT department, and ensure that the IT roadmap is effectively meeting the company's objectives. Key responsibilities include leading IT activities for a multi-national organization, driving the implementation of the strategic IT roadmap, managing IT vendor relationships, and ensuring IT governance and security compliance.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being a plus, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the IT industry. A strong background in senior leadership or management within an IT, security, or software development setting is essential. The role demands a proven track record of significant achievements in business information systems, security, software project management, software development, and IT systems engineering. Experience in leading a business system implementation or major upgrade, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with global teams, is also required. The ideal candidate will have a background in a complex manufacturing environment and a demonstrated use of scorecards and KPIs to manage the IT organization.
